Panoramic photograph of the Colville Valley north and south of Chewelah, Quartzite Mountain and Chewelah Peak with snow. View is from the small hill on current Quarry-Browns Lake Road, just west of Heine Road. On the left side of the photograph, just east of the farm house are two of the buckets used to haul material from the quarry to the Northwest Magnesite Plant.
