Kettle Falls Valley Fruit Producers, Inc. Benny Mellenberger maintained these fruit business logs from 1929 to 1942. Alloway Orchard is what is now Sherman Creek Orchard (in Ferry County). 1909 Sengfelder purchases the property and develops an orchard 1919 Sengfelder sells to Alloway 1925 Mrs. Alloway sells to the Bank of Colville (her husband had died in 1922) 1934 the Bank sells to Pat O'Brien (it still seems to be called the Alloway Orchard at that time) 1939 Mellenbergers purchase the orchard and then it is known as the Mellenberger Orchard 1970 Mellenbergers move across the river to Peachcrest area
